Studio Dog Photography in London

Create colourful, personality-filled portraits of your dog in my private Wimbledon home studio, or let me bring the studio to your home. Sessions are relaxed, consent-based and carefully paced around the dog in front of me - no posing experience or perfect behaviour required.

Following an almost-identical procedure to an Outdoor Dog Portrait Session, with one key difference: your dog will be photographed in the comfort of Amie’s home studio (or at your own place if you have the space!).

    The Pre-Session Call

Wondering if your London dog might feel more comfortable in a studio? Let’s talk about it: reach out and say hi!

We can easily arrange a phone call or chat over email to make sure you have all the information you need to be reassured that your dog will have a wonderful photography experience with me.

All of the following will be discussed (YES! In order of importance!):

    1. Your Dog’s Personality / Needs
    2. Location
    3. Date/Time/Your desired outcomes
    4. Any additional questions

    The session

The most enjoyable part starts here: the studio portrait session.

Before we begin, I’ll brief you on a couple of simple steps but this is all about having fun together! This won’t be what you expected. Instead, your dog will be given time to get to know me, the camera and my equipment. We can take the whole portrait session in our stride and there’s no clock-watching here.

    The big reveal

Some might say this is the most enjoyable part of it all…

In between our session and our viewing, I’ll have been hard at work on some retouching magic to give your images some extra “wow”.

The viewing session itself can be an extremely emotional experience - you have been warned! You’ll see the selections from your final gallery, often seeing your dog in a whole new light, and make decisions on which images you’d like to take home with you and how you’d like them presented.

This session is approached in the exact same way my portrait sessions are: zero pressure or expectations from me.

    The delivery

The pinnacle of the whole process.

I work with the highest quality fine art print labs to ensure that any orders placed with me are crafted to perfection. Any orders of digital files will be presented on a storage device stored in a beautiful keepsake box.

If only I could be on hand to photograph your reactions…

A studio experience designed for real dogs

Dogs don’t arrive knowing how to pose, stay still, or work under studio lights - and they don’t need to.

Studio sessions are carefully paced, food-led, and adapted to the dog in front of me. We build things up gradually, take breaks when needed, and follow your dog’s comfort cues throughout. There’s no expectation for perfection or performance.

Three dogs of different breeds and colors are lying down against a plain light gray background. One dog is resting on its side in the foreground, a light-colored, cream or tan with darker paws. Behind it, a black and gray speckled dog with one ear standing up and one floppy is sitting, and behind them, a black and tan dog with upright ears is partially visible.
