Are you ready to celebrate your dog together?
“We love her gentle and calm approach to dog photography, ensuring the dogs are all happy and comfortable while still being able to take amazing photos that capture the personality of different dogs perfectly!” - Abby (Mushroom the Keeshond’s Human)
WHAT ADAM SAID:
“Our little dachshund Totoro had a wonderful time with Amie's photoshoot and we are super delighted with the result. Amie was charming, flexible in terms of timings and location, and incredible with our little dog in Epping Forest. The framed print is in pride of place on the living room wall and Amie provided us with a beautifully presented memory stick of our 10 favourite photos. Strongly recommended for all those proud paw-rents out there.”
Amie isn’t just a dog photographer. She is a safe space for every dog she meets.
Her mission is to ensure as many of London’s dogs as possible have a positive, enjoyable experience with photography, whether that’s out and about on location, in the studio, or even at puppy classes & brand photoshoots.
She continuously improves her knowledge of science-backed, positive training methods and dog behaviour. She is an award-winning dog photographer who transforms fleeting moments into heirloom works of art, all with the consent and enjoyment of her canine (or feline) subject.
“As an inclusive dog photographer, no dog is too reactive, too sick or too challenging for me.”
what does Amie do?
But enough about Amie - let’s focus on you and your dog, because Amie’s approach puts you both right at the centre of everything.
“I believe so strongly in the philosophy of ‘no dog left behind’. It’s that simple for me because I haven’t yet met a dog that I have not been able to understand and communicate with to get the very best out of them. I feel so passionately about creating a culture of inclusivity around dogs, especially dogs who are reactive, unwell, older, or considered by some (but not me!) to be “difficult”.”
In photographing all different personalities and quirks of dogs, Amie aims to surprise you with awe-inspiring images of your own dog that you never thought were achievable. Her goal is for you to leave your portrait session thinking, “I cannot believe my dog was able to pose like that!” and to view your session images completely filled with reverence for your dog.

WHAT Stephanie SAID:
“We initially worked with Amie to photograph our younger working cocker, Valentine, to help promote her rescuers, Spaniel Rescue Foundation. Valentine had a difficult start in life and she can be nervous and/or a bit manic with new people, but Amie was able to work with that to get the best out of her. The pictures were amazing - capturing Vallie in motion in the woods, showing her boundless energy and her big personality.
We were so impressed by the work Amie did that we went back with our older working cocker spaniel, Dizzy, who, in contrast, has been treated like a princess since she was a puppy, and the results were equally impressive. Dizzy trusted Amie right away and they were able to get some stunning shots capturing Dizzy in her natural environment among the trees and ferns, alert and regal.
Amie has been a pleasure to work with throughout, accommodating our requirements and working with the differing needs of the dogs. She was happy to visit our home to discuss how best to present the photographs of our girls, and to deliver the finished artwork, which added to the whole experience. We are in awe of what she has achieved with our dogs and delighted with the resulting artwork that now has pride of place in our home.”

Frequently asked questions:
-
I have photographed SO many dogs in London whose owners think they can’t stay still long enough. Guess what? Every time I’ve finished a session with a skeptical human, their dog has completely surprised them every time. I have a tried and trusted range of tricks up my sleeve to help get the best out of your dog. AND the best images are never the ones of them sitting completely still. Trust my process!
-
The safety of a dog in front of my camera in London - as well as others around us - is the utmost priority during our portrait sessions. I will NEVER insist that your dog is off-lead in any context. Believe it or not, most of the dogs in my images were safely on a lead in the original image! With a little retouching fairy dust, you would never know.
-
There are a couple options here if you’d still love to have your reactive dog photographed in London but aren’t sure on the best method. We can choose a quiet location early in the morning to minimise any dog-dog interaction or if it is a major concern for you then a studio session in a private space such as your own home could be the way to go. Discuss this with me in more detail during a pre-booking chat to get the best advice.

Let’s be honest, the weather in London can be unpredictable at best. I always try to encourage us to proceed with a shoot even if it’s raining a little bit - there are always some amazing atmospheric images to be had. However, I always keep an eye on the weather forecast the night before and if it gets out of hand or looks to be a total washout we can absolutely reschedule.

And every product in my catalogue - whether it’s a wall art or print - always comes with the matching social-resolution version of the same image, ready for you to share online with friends and family.
