I'm Amie Barron, and I'm not just an award-winning dog photographer in London; I am every dog’s best friend. Through my kindness, compassion and consent-based approach, I work ethically to capture your dog’s uniqueness and create beautiful dog portraits immortalised as luxury artwork pieces for your home. As an inclusive dog photographer, no dog is too reactive, too sick or too challenging for me.
WHO IS AMIE BARRON AND HAPPY DOGGO RESCUE?
Happy Doggo started in early 2021 with the simple act of feeding a few hungry street dogs on Sunday mornings. But this small kindness captivated the hearts of people all over the world and was the catalyst for a much bigger movement.
I chose to donate to Happy Doggo for this event as a way to pay thanks to Niall and the amazing work he is devoting his life to. I have always found him and his team to be a huge source of inspiration, and after meeting him in May during the tour for his book launch, I wanted to do something to celebrate this remarkable man and all the dogs he is saving.

I am well-versed in reading dog behaviour, and I am known for my way of partnering my photography with ethical, positive training methods. Before we shoot, I will ensure your dog is comfortable with what is happening by desensitising them to the paper backdrop, equipment, and flash. This way we set them up for success, make the shoot into a fun game, and ensure relaxed and happy results!

I have photographed SO many dogs in London whose owners think they can’t stay still long enough. Guess what? Every time I’ve finished a session with a skeptical human, their dog has completely surprised them every time. I have a tried and trusted range of tricks up my sleeve to help get the best out of your dog. AND the best images are never the ones of them sitting completely still. Trust my process!

Shortly after the event, you will receieve a link to a personal gallery of digital proofs to choose your favourite from. I will then retouch and send you the full-resolution digital photograph which you can print yourself, as well as the social-media resolution digital photograph to share with friends and family online.

You can. I would ask that you book separate tickets for them so they each have adequate time, and due to how stimulating these environments are for dogs, I can’t guarantee that I will photograph them together if they are uncomfortable with it.

Of course. My ethos is always “no dog left behind” and that is true for this event. My aim is to raise as much money as possible for Happy Doggo and invite all rescue dogs and their friends to attend.
